Yahoo Acquires Tumblr for $1.1 billion
Looks like Yahoo! is making some appealing things.
The New York Times has confirmed that the Search engine and mail service provider, will get hold of Popular micro-blogging Platform Tumblr for a Colossal amount of $1.1 billion.
"Yahoo! will help Tumblr get even better, faster.The combination of Tumblr+Yahoo! could grow Yahoo!’s audience by 50% to more than a billion monthly visitors, and could grow traffic by approximately 20%".Marissa Mayer the president and CEO of Yahoo writes.
She made assurances that the platform won't change and will remain in the same way.
